In the previous post I mentioned how Google recently changed Gmail Inbox layout and filter messages to different folders or categories and the impact on your email marketing campaigns.

Well guess what? You can revert and circumvent the auto filter messages. Indeed Gmail provide user the option to redirect messages back to the ‘Primary’ folder or any of the categories easily using the following
method:

Find one of my emails in “Promotions” and drag it into “Primary”. A pop-up will appear to ask if you want to do this for all future messages and click “Yes” and you are basically done with it.

Another method is go to “Settings” [the icon on the top right corner of your screen above your inbox] and select “settings.” Click on the “Inbox” tab and “Unselect” all categories but “Primary” and then click “Save Changes.”)

You should forward these important tips to your subscribers so that they will not miss out on your marketing emails or newsletters moving forward.
