I  often felt guilty at times.  I knew I had to get the article written for submission and complete the niche marketing research over the weekend. When the expected day arrived, for some reason I decided to put it off, postpone it to the next weekend.

This goes on and on,  days turn into weeks and months and nothing gets done half a year later. Procrastination is one of the biggest problem that confronts everyone . Some people equate this problem with laziness but it is much more serious than what it seems to be.

If you have the tendency to wait for last minute to get things done or you tend to put away to do list until the deadline draws near then chances are that you are habitual procrastinator.  Sad to say, one can ever hardly succeed in life  nor  achieve whatever goals set  if  this behavior persists.

Check  out this link for more information on the impact such behavior to your ability to achieve success

There are many personal development and self improvement books out there in the market which you can easily pick up to study and learn  to keep  deal with dallying attitude. Unfortunately most people don’t seems to gain any traction and experience any real improvement in life even after they spend hours reading all these books.   After awhile, the same loafing habits starts to creep in and you are back to square one.

I came across this interesting video clip on how to rid oneself off this dawdling habit.  It is enlightening to note that most of such problems are caused by our subconscious mind.

There are simple actions we can take to  reprogram or rewired our subconscious thoughts  to eliminate procrastination. Watch the video below and hopefully you get something to take away with you to kick off this bad habit using five simple ways.

Ridding yourself off the lack of sense of urgency can lead to tremendous increase productivity, sense of achievement, happiness and overall improve personal well being. You will be able to manage your time more effectively and earn more income as your career takes off.

One effective way to beat procrastination is by visualizing the tons of unnecessary stress and problems that you are likely to experience if you  put off things you need to do till the  last minute which otherwise you could have completed earlier.

In summary, you can have the best marketing training, possess the best strategy, tactics and awesome product to sell and yet still fail to succeed online if  you lack sense of urgency, discipline and commitment to stick to task schedule.  You can overcome procrastination quite easily without having to resort to drastic actions.
