Google is scheduled to roll out the  next major search update by the this coming summer latest.   Dubbed Penguin 2.0,  it is anticipated  the search ranking of many websites  will be affected (for the better or for the worst ) by the revised search algorithm. Matt Cutts, the SEO spokesman and head honcho of Google Web Spam team mentioned that updates pertaining to security include detection of websites that has been hacked.

Google Will Blacklist Hacked Websites

A  hacked website is going to be blacklisted by upcoming Google algorithm thus it is important for you to take necessary precaution to protect your site from attacks .  It is not clear at this point of time as to how Google plan to deal with recover sites and have them remove from the search ban list.  Suffice to say, it is reasonable for Big ‘G’ to filter off  links to compromised sites from the search results.

It is also not clear at this point of time as to how Google access and evaluate a site has been hack and also determine if it is secure or not. Regardless, you should review your site and take actions to mitigate any potential gaps in regards to security. Make it a point to upgrade and sync up your WP software and plug-ins to the latest official releases.
