Time sure seems to pass quickly. It’s been almost a week since I am back from Longmont Colorado. The weather was surprisingly good on the day I left for Denver Airport. It is interesting to note that Delta Airlines has fitted most of its fleets of carriers with wifi connection. I suppose more airlines will follow suit to equip their carriers with in-flight wifi capabilities.
Passengers in flight quickly pull out their electronic gadgets and start to surf the Internet once the captain announce it is safe to do at thirty thousand feet. It is amazing how technology progressed to the point where you can surf the Internet with PDAs, smart phones and laptop while you up in the air. You could write email and even do live chat with your loved ones and colleagues while you are cruising thousands of miles from home.
Wireless and other mobile technology has come a long way. On the positive side of it , you are contactable at all times while you are traveling and that may not be a bad thing after all. You could get live up to date information that helps you to make critical and strategic inform decisions. On the flip side of it, life will be much more stressful because if you are contactable at all times perhaps chances are that you got to work even while you are on-board a plane, more so especially if you have a demanding unreasonable boss.
I guess regardless, if you enjoy surfing the Internet when you have time then the availability of wifi service on-board planes would be much appreciated. Being contactable and connected to the Internet at all times while on the move allow us to continue to run Internet business no matter where we are.
