Pixlr is great free online tool that enables you to do quick touch up to images and photos.  Pixl-O-Matic is a good substitute for Adobe Photoshop.  It has all the basic functionality for you to create banners and logos for Facebook  Fanpage , Profile page and etc. It is really fun to use it.

Sign up is free, you don’t have to create an account to get started  but I would suggest you to do so that you have access to all the features if you log in. You can save the image that you have touch up to various formats such the jpeg, png and etc.

You can also save it as a Pixlr project so that you can edit it anytime you want.  The great thing about this high quality free graphic tool is that you don’t need to install any application on your PC. It is a web based application and you can log on to use it without being tied to any particular PC or laptop.

On top of that, there is a mobile Android app equivalent  that you can use to create stunning images with your mobile phone! Isn’t that cool ?  I am not sure how long it is going to stay as a free service since it has all the bells and whistles to create excellent images.

This image edit app is good alternative for those who just want to do some quick touch up to a photo. Of course professional graphic designers would it a child’s play but hey, who’s complaining since you don’t have to pay a dime to use.
