Of recent quite a number of netizens in this part of the region are getting themselves into unnecessary trouble and messy situation due to their comments in blogs and social media networking sites such as facebook, msn live and etc. Apparently some of these postings were targeted at employers or even relevant authorities of which the contents were deemed inappropriate.

Sometimes it is quite difficult for us to control our feelings and emotions when we pen out our thoughts in cyber space. The problem though is that we tend to overlook the fact the comments that we posts in the Internet can have tremendous bearings and influence far reaching beyond geographical boundaries. Furthermore, our remarks and views might just be misconstrued or misinterpreted in ways that we never meant it to be.

Some people talk about freedom of speech, human rights and etc. In reality, freedom comes with a price, risk and responsibility. If you must write to communicate your grievances or unhappiness about someone or something, you should do so only after careful consideration. Some business organizations do not permit their employees to anyhow blog or speculate about the company financial health, product or service and etc.
